The Dumas – Musketeer Hat | 1500s Slouch Hat
The Dumas is a handmade Musketeer hat, named in honor of Alexandre Dumas, the author of The Three Musketeers. Inspired by the wide-brimmed slouch hats of the 16th century, it embodies the drama and flair of Renaissance fashion.
Made in black wool felt with a sweeping 18 cm brim, The Dumas has one side turned up and a black ribbon arounde the crown. White ostrich feathers add a bold and authentic flourish, echoing the spirit of soldiers, noblemen, and adventurers of the era.
Each Dumas hat is hand-blocked using traditional millinery techniques and carefully finished by hand. Its wide brim and striking style make it perfect for reenactment, LARP, SCA, theater, or history-inspired fashion.
