I create custom historical hats and accessories, made to order and tailored to your vision. Whether you want a specific period style, a general historical look, or a fully unique design inspired by the past, I’ll work closely with you to bring it to life.
I help you find the right balance between budget and historical accuracy. I also offer advice on what materials and details are period-correct, and which options allow for flexibility without losing the overall look.
Getting a started is simple
In the webshop you will find a few standard models, which are also made-to-order, but you just choose colour and size with a few clicks of the buttons.
For commissions, contact med with what you’re looking for, preferably if you have an image of what you have in mind. We’ll discuss materials, historical accuracy, your budget, and how long the process will take. Once we’ve settled on the design, I’ll you the payment details and once payment is received, I’ll begin crafting your hat.
Once it’s ready he hat will be shipped with a tracking number.
A bespoke piece is more than just a hat — it’s a personal investment in craftsmanship. Each item is carefully handmade, and most pieces are hand-stitched for the highest level of detail. All my historical hats are hand blocked and mainly hand sewn, and I prioritize local materials whenever possible, and I craft each item with care and historical knowledge. This also means every piece is different, and colours and shapes may vary, as it does when something is handmade.
All felt and straw hats include a complimentary reshaping and restiffening to help your hat maintain its shape. You’ll also receive discounts on custom services, such as ribbon changes or adjustments, so your hat continues to reflect your style for years to come.
